Central Coast duo Sugar Soap are back with their latest indie/surf rock single 'Talk', and it may be their best release to date.
Without wanting to get too hyperbolic, Sugar Soap's newest release, set to drop tomorrow, may just be their best work to date.
Luke and Jordi Mahler have been working away to perfect their 'east coast surfy' brand of music, and I think they've absolutely hit a home run with 'Talk'.
The blend of surfy guitar, dreamy synths and soothing echoing vocals also make this release a perfect summer anthem.
The track itself is about the struggle for authenticity in a chaotic world. It's a plea to pause the noise and savour the moment.
"The song was written in a serene backyard, highlighting the beauty of finding joy even after everything seems to go wrong," said Luke on this release.
"It's a simple anthem about letting go and rediscovering the simple pleasures of life. We hope this track resonates with anyone feeling overwhelmed, encouraging them to step back, breathe, and rediscover the beauty of simply living."
