Premiere: Jess Humphries wants to be your bad habit with 'Daisy'

Central Coast newcomer Jess Humphries is back with another folk-infused indie pop single, ‘Daisy’.

She's relatively new to the scene, but the production value cannot be underestimated.

Off the back of her first two singles ‘Blue Moon’ and ‘He Is So Lovely’, Jess has found her stride with Sydney based producer, Josh King, to create a sonic landscape that is both intimate and expansive.

Her new single, Daisy, tells a story of desperation and longing.

"Daisy is the personification of the vice we turn to", Jess said.

"This song explores the danger and emotions of wanting to be somebody’s bad habit, if it means having their attention. Through introspective, honest lyrics, atmospheric ear candy and ambient electric guitars, 'Daisy' was made to sound as though you are giving in to desire."
