The Dreggs to headline Long Jetty Festival

The lineup for the Long Jetty Festival has dropped, featuring some big names and a bunch of Coasties.

The Dreggs headline the event this year, which last year saw the likes of The Rubens, Meg Mac and more take to the stage. In a huge celebration of everything that is uniquely Long Jetty - art, culture, music, pre-loved and people, a record 20,000 + locals and tourists alike descended on the streets, shops and lakefront of Long Jetty last year for the inaugural Long Jetty Festival. This year is no different, with the festival back in equally incredible measure for another huge one-day community takeover of ‘The Jetty’ - Sunday 21st April.

Of the Coasties on the bill, you'll see local favourites Sunsoli, Smrt Casual, Mindy Lou, Joel Leggett, Deadshowws and more.

With music an integral part of the event’s programming, the talents of indie folk duo The Dreggs and NZ’s own Coterie along to headline the mainstage, joined by local faves Sunsoli + so much more including local buskers and musicians roaming the foreshore throughout the day.

There's more than just music at this festival, with local and small batch brews and seltzers, a licensed bar area at mainstage, over 250+ stalls, 5 Stages, Activations and Zones catering to all tastes and ages including; The Flea Market - a place to peruse vintage wares, records + plants, Chilli Village for those that dare (don’t miss the chilli eating comp + brand new Hot Dog Eating comp), the Art Zone with live Street art installations and Pinot Picasso’s paint the Jetty, Bark Park for a tail-wagging time for you and your furrever friend, the Green Zone - an eco-friendly space with organic fruit and veg producers, the Sport and Rec Zone with Aerial acrobatics and Dance performances or drop by Kiddies Corner for endless pint size fun for the kidlets including Amusement Rides, DJ, Craft and Wildlife Shows.

The day will also include cultural and educational talks and workshops and dedicated chill-zones to throw down a blanket overlooking the Long Jetty sunset.

It wouldn’t be a true Long Jetty event without some local favourites doing what they do best including; Comedy at The Savoy Hosted by Rory Lowe, Tiki La La’s Vinyl Sessions, Back Yard Parties, Komuniti Yoga Sessions, Upstairs Wine Festival Bar and more.

This free community event will take place on Sunday, the 21st of April.
